The configuration has absolutely nothing to do with the content of your drives or RAID array. Everything that you had on the storage volumes prior to upgrading will still be there as it was.
Like I pointed out in email, moving the associated files over to the USB boot device has damaged the configuration data, so reprogramming your boot device is now necessary. That's a simple, 5 minute task as follows:
1. Program the USB boot device using the NASLite-2 USB CD-ROM.
2. Boot the server using the newly-programmed USB boot device.
3. Login to admin menu, provide the license ID, IP, etc., save and reboot.
4. Use client with a browser and view Status to request unlock.
5. Login to admin menu, provide unlock, save and reboot.
