I must be missing something.

I have 4 500gb harddrives connected to a LSI MegaRaid Sata-6 card. I can go in an setup raid 5. I then can get into NasLite 2 and see the logical drive. I can reboot and still see the drive, but when I format the drive and try to reboot i keep getting stuck at Verifying DMI Pool Data. As long as I don't format the raid drive I can get past this but as soon as I format it stops.

Check boot order and in some cases an option to boot from external controllers first. At any rate, this issue must be resolved on the BIOS level.

I updated the system BIOS. I updated the Raid card Bios. And still no go. If I disable the raid card bios I can get into naslite, but the drive shows as idle, not mounted. Help!

If you can see the drive set as IDLE, then you are almost there. Use the "DISK-X CONFIGURATION MENU" to change the export option from "--" to "RW", save settings and reboot.

Hope that helps...
