This case is perfect for nasbox builders...see specs and pics ...very cheap and looks awesome...black and simple look..just buy additional 8-9 mobile rack(rack) ....for 8-9 harddrives...

Looks good. The description says it accomodates 8 x 3.5" drives yet one of the reviews indicates you need a 5.25" to 3.5" adaptor. Which is correct?

you need to install a hard drive rails or adapter if you want to install the hardDrive internal OR for external , install mobile racks, which ever you prefer since all 9 bays are 5.25 ...

In my case i have installed (black color) mobile racks for 8 hard drive for all 8 bay + 1 cdrom for my naslite2 nasbox. which looks awesome , i use if for movies and mp3s

its quiet . (2) 120mm fans and ( 1) 120mm air duck, great airflow circulation. Also depends on the power supply as well.

Especially the usb & firewire on the top because my cases usually sit on the floor or in a lower slot on the desk.
