NASLite Network Attached Storage

I have a question regarding NASLite 2 and fixed IDE and USB external drives. We have data stored on the fixed drive inside the server and would like to be able to make a backup of that data to be put onto the external drives (2 externals that would be swapped every other week and then unhooked and taken off site for instance). Does Nas support hot swapping of external drives or does the server need to be reset when one of them is plugged in to be used? I know it would probably be easier to have the externals plugged into a workstation but would rather have them tied directly to the server instead of possible.


Is this even possible with Naslite 2?

Anyone ?

I have asked similar questions about external USB hard drives and no response. I guess not many people are using them. I have problems accessing the external drive. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not.
