All I did was change the processor in the system from a 550Mhz to a 1.13Ghz, nothing else, and I need a new unlock code? Is this supposed to happen? It is the same board and everything else, just new CPU.

What version of NASLite-2 CDD are you running?

That behaviour should not be happening from v2.03 or above.

Running V.2.03. I got a new unlock code, but now I noticed that one of my hard drives is not mounting... time to hook up a monitor and keyboard and see what's up.

The disk that is not mounting is failing the filesystem check. This disk was filled to 99% capacity before I shut the system down, will that cause this problem?

CPU Change will result in a different system ID, hence new unlock will be required. How big is the drive and how much RAM do you have on that machine?

PIII 1.13Ghz, 512MB DDR Ram, 3x 320GB hard drives. Ran filesystem check and repair, and it was saying something about too many illegal blocks in some inodes. It cleared a bunch of inodes and started the bad block scan over.

That particular drive doesn't get a lot of use, just holds part of my DVD collection for feeding my home theater PC. It was at 99% capacity though, since bringing it down to 95% left quite a bit of unused space, about enough for 2 or 3 movies.

It seems to be working fine now, but is there anything I should do to prevent filesystem problems in the future? Does it need more free space? There is 3.2GB free on it right now.
