The manual for 2 mentionss CD, USB and hard disk versions of the software yet I don't see an available HD version. It that a future version? If a future version is an estimate of when it will be available?

Not out yet. No mention of when it will be out but somewhere it was pointed out that it is next in line after v2.03 is out. Just wait and see i guess.
