Ok
With great thanks so far for all the help i have my Nasbox running ok and i can access it by ftp/telnet/http all ok from my Mac

And all 3 drives are accessible by FTP fine.
Now my next question is how (or if its even possible) to have the drives appear in Mac OS normally? Ie so one could drag/drop copy/paste files to and thro from server to computer? Without having to FTP everything. Ideally the 3 disks would show up in Mac Finder (same as windows explorer) as 3 remote drives.
Having read through the manual i think i seen how to do it, but so far cant get it to work. If i try the method shown to access disk on Mac OS which is
nfs://192.168.0.XXX/export/disk-1
All i get is "could not connect to server, name or password is incorrect" I tried same with smb and get similar error. So thus far my only way to access drives on NAsbox is via a ftp program, which of course works fine, but would easier and more convenient if the appeared as additional drives to computer.
I havent yet tried to setup access on my flatmates XP PC yet, but had planned to get him access to the same drives as well.
Thanks as always
