After much work, I finally got NASLITE-2 working on my machine. Couldnt get the USB to work on my motherboard so I have installed the CD version.

I have the CD-Rom drive and 3 hard drives installed on the motherboard IDE channels but wanted to add a couple more drives so I bought a PCI IDE Controller. It is a Sil 0680 which is on the supported list.

However, whenever I attach any drives to the new controller I get the following error.

ISOLINUX 1.61 2001-04-13 isolinux: Loading spec packet failed, trying to wing it....
isolinux: Found something at drive = FC
isolinux: Failed to access CD-ROm drive, boot failed

Even if I only attach the drives connected to my primary IDE cable to the controller (and nothing to the motherboard IDE channels), I get the same error.

If the card is installed but no cable attached, it boots fine. It is only when I install a cable.

Can anyone help?

I get the same message when I try to boot from CD-ROM NASLITE 2. At the moment I am unable to boot and make the thing running.

Before I had NAS Lite+ running, without any problems. My hardware
Pentium 166MHz, 128MB ram
Primary IDE Master HD 22 GB
Primary IDE Slave HD 400 GB
Secondary IDE Master CDrom
Secondary IDE Slave HD 3 GB

What do I need to check with the IRQs exactely?
