A board that old may be hard to find that will boot from the USB port. I have been using a kicker CD I made from my USB image. Seems to work just fine.

Hey guys,

today i added my 3 disk into naslite server (the one i forgot to install after mobo replaced). after reboot and checking all drives in naslite boot it get stuck on checking filesystem Disk-3. i can access the drive if i attach it to my other linux server (300GB hd) & its stuck on same screen from last 3 hrs.

any advise?

Thanks

If its a large drive it can take hours for NL to finish checking the drive. Just start it and let it work.

As far as the kicker CDROM I built the USB key then used it as an image to make the CDROM. I just copied the contents to the CDROM, I put the naslite.mbr in the root of the cdrom and the rest of the files in a folder called naslite. I think I also set the cdrom to be built to be bootable, been a while since I did this.
