All I have to say is one Fibre channel controler and a few cheap arrays off of Ebay and I could easly hit that limit of 128 drives.

Oh what hell that would be though to have storage splayed across 128 drives.

C’mon now! :D

We are talking individual volume mount points, so if you have a RAID-5 with 3 drives, that’s a single volume to NASLite-2. Likewise, each remote storage volume is also counted as a single volume. Therefore, in theory, one can have more than 128 physical disks available via NASLite and single mounted via Shares. ;-)

I have a 2 port 2Gb Fibre channel hardware RAID card that I am thinking of hanging the 28 drives I have for it off of and playing with NL2.0 Have to see if it will even have drivers for the card. Fast as hell and fun to use for sure.
