Looks like its still hard coded at 882 meg or so.. I have a gig and my current stats show 882M total 876M used 6M left 35M buffers..

Not sure why it cannot be made to use whatever memory you have installed?

Overall great web interface,console , I like it...

If you have no video card and just using the mother boards on board video it takes some RAM. You can go in the BIOS and set that for lower. With just text I guess you could set it as low as it goes.

I have two 128's in mine. Nothing else to use them in. So that's 256 and the System Status shows TOTAL 249M with 18M used. Mine has on board video. See it don't say TOTAL 256M but 249M.

Dunno, guess I pound mine pretty hard with data... :lol:

I mean if you can swing it and had 2 gig of ram, why not..

But then again the target user with software @ $30, its a deal.. I love mine. I think its a much better deal than the ReadyNas unit for $2500 we got and faster..

Thinking of trying to get my boss to swing for a few of these out of the old boxes we have down stairs..
