I have an old HP Pavillion with two hard drives. One is configured with Windows 2000. If I boot with NAS Lite+, will I have the option to format only the other of my two drives. Can I then reboot with Windows unchanged? Or is this a one way trip?

Thanks.

Eli

Yes, you have to configure (format) each drive individually when setting up NASLite. If you left your primary drive alone then booting without the floppy would load Windows as normal. However, you will not be able to read the NASLite formatted drive from within Windows since it is formatted with a Linux file system. If you google for ext2 support on Windows you may have some luck.

Thanks. That's what I thought. I am not so concerned about reading the NAS drive from within windows. I just didn't want to give up the option of using Windows OS occassionally.
