NASLite Network Attached Storage

I current have HDD-2 build 2.4.35 (2.4.35.NASLite #2 Sun Aug 12 09:03:16 EDT 2007) and I'd like to upgrade to the lastest 2.10 or if possible directly to M2

what are my options (i i know i will have to pay the $ to re-validate my link) and then what?

Yah, it's seamless. I went from NL 2.00 right to M2 with no issues at all. I went from a home brew CD loader built off of a USB key to a CF based HDD boot. It worked great. Just pay for the re-up, DL and follow the directions.

If I were doing it, just to be safe I'd disconnect the drives before the upgrade. An ounce of prevention..... This will protect you from making a dumb mistake and wiping a drive.

So essentially all you are really doing is upgrading/re-installing the system disk and then re-attaching the data drives

I really use mysetup to stream to xbox's but it works perfectly as is... I'm tempted to follow the old adage that is if its not broke dont fix it

If it works now with NL and you don't need M2 then just stick with NL2.xx. I would recommend the upgrade to the newest version though since they are always updating it and streamlining its function. The newer one is faster than the old version, not that speed maters nearly as much as reliability.
