Tony, Ralph,

Congratulations on the release of NASLite-2 v2.10. I really like the idea of a single version which allows flexibility in installation target. Also, the IRQ handling update is very welcome.

Well done!

will certainly make life easier as hardware changes as mine tends to

am a little confused [not difficult  ] on upgrading - i have 2 licenses - do i need to upgrade both or just use each license on the one download

also i was not aware about revalidation - both my licenses are well past the 180 day mark - have looked at what is shown when i input the download links and there is no mention of that - is this still possible

a discount is offered [slightly different for each license] is that taking into account the length of time i have had each license

May last download link still worked so I did not have to pay the $5 to reopen it.

I got a email from ServerElements. NASLite v2.10 Update. I did not read it good and said to myself yes they have the M2 out!

But then I seen it's just a update to the HDD one that now can install on a CDD, USB, or HDD from the one download, one CD! But they updated things too. Like the kernel core to 2.4.36.

I tested it on my mini-ITX that stopps at "PCI: Unable to handle 64-bit address space for" and the installer did the same. But this time it went on after about 4 sec.

The other installer did too. But it would not run from the hard drive stopping at "PCI: Unable to handle 64-bit address space for" But this one runs! It does stop there but only for about 4 sec. Then boots all the way and works! Yes. Now I am sure M2 will work with this mini-ITX. I been waiting so long for it to come out. This is very good news that M2 should work with this now!

Thank you for the update. I guess M2 is not long away now because looks like you have the unified installer working now and last I herd that is were they were stuck on with M2.

Good to hear Raymond, the new kernel should clear up quite a few issues with IRQ's and such on newer machines that support APIC.

Will this kernel support Marvell chipsets? Where can I find a list of supported network and SATA controllers?

Thanks,

Tom
