Go into the telnet console and login, you do know how right?

Name : admin
password : nas

Select option 3 - storage configuration

select the drive you need to check

Select option 5 - check disk-x filesystem.

That or just reboot the machine and I think it will run the check automatically. (Not sure on this)

I use the USB version. This post in under the HDD version, so the following may not apply, but still, I have a feeling that the "e2fsck" warning applies to the SYSTEM drive. As far as I understand from forum posts, this is either a small boot partition on one of the data drives, or the user has a separate boot drive. In both cases, I don't think you can get into the "DISK N CONFIGURATION MENU", being a system (NL boot) drive, at least not in the USB version of NL. The "Disk-N" has always shown last on the "Storage Configuration Menu" in my system and has an "*" in front of it (and is the highest numbered -- i.e. I have three data drives numbered 0 to 2, and my USB stick is Disk-3). The EXT2 also distinguishes it from the data drives (after applying Journal).
Not sure what the Samsung message means ... I guess "see manual for details" may provide some clues .... (?which manual?).
:) Georg
