I just installed naslite usb on my old computer. In windows XP I mapped the naslite server as network drive.
It writes and reads perfectly EXCEPT:
it disconnects once a while (around 10 minutes or less). Windows shows a message "Z is not accessible".
But it reconnects after a small pause (10-30 seconds) if I keep clicking on the mapped drive......

Anyone knows the reason? I have a home router network. Both computers and the Naslite server sit on the same local network. Naslite sever is configured with an IP address manually, two computers are DHCP configured.

Thanks.

IP conflict, bad cable, hardware issue, could be a lot of things...

Take a look at the NASLite syslog status and check for errors. Also in the network section, look for transfer errors. Make sure the NAS IP is outside the DHCP range and lastly, try a different cable.
