I am considering purchasing the NASLite-2 CDD and was wondering if it supported the Sil 3132 Sata chipset. I needed some additional ports so I purchased a cheap Sata II controller that supports raid 0. (I know it's software raid) Will this work? I really like some of the features but want to make sure before I purchase.

Thanks in advance,

Keith

NO SOFTWARE RAID IS SUPPORTED AT THIS TIME!

As to the Sil 3132 being supported I can't say.

I've picked up a few SIL3132 for Windows mirrors, but since they are PCIe, I don't think SE has support for them.... plain SATA or RAID. not that NE couldn't support PCIe, but the SilI chipset is too new.

Now that NanoNAS is out the door, I hope NASlite gets up to v3 soon, so we don't have to keep using ancient hardware.... or at least dated hardware.... or at least hardware from the last century.... :?
