 Post subject: cannot setup my NAS

I burnt the ISO image onto CD.
My computer:
ECS Goal3+ S754 motherboard with LAN on board
AMD Sempron 3000+, 1GB RAM
HD: IDE 4GB old one
HD: SATA2: 500BG

Boot from the CD
Uncompressing
log: kernel...
......
then,
log: attempted to kill init
then everything stopped.

Any help appreciated.

Turn off all unnecessary devices in the BIOS. Things like com and lpt ports, mouse, sound, etc. are not needed. If you are still having problems, you should try disabling ACPI and see if that gets things going for you.
