Hi,

After upgrading most of my network to fibre gigabit networking... got tired of gigabit over copper and the normal cat6 cables.

Does NASLite support the gigabit over fibre cards.

I have a spare 'The Silicom NetXtreme Dual' Fibre NIC I was thinking of plugging in, atm I'm using a standard copper cat6 based gigabit card.

If the chipset is supported, then the card should do. Take a look at the Hardware Reference Guide for details.

Sanjiyan, please come back here and tell us if you get it to work - since you've already purchased the hardware. I know some of us like myself are dying to push the envelope and get more than 300Mb/s out of our Gb copper networks.
