I assumed all smart enabled drives would show temp..... ?

it's working for drive 0 with is a very old 40 gig drive (bought when 40 gig was the biggest you could get)

drive 0 is the oldest drive in the system

had the exact same problem with a new mb, I really had to drill down the menus to find the option was off in bios and each drives smart could be turned off/on there..
