Hi... new Naslite-M2 user here. I went through installation, set up every parameter every step of the way. I see in my status page that my UPNP server is supposed to be running. I tried the generic setting, the XBOX setting and the DLNA setting, however, it never shows up on my network as an available media server. I have used eyeconnect on my Mac before and I know that works because it shows up on my Sharp Aquos TV. I have an Xbox and it will not locate the NASLite Server even when I choose the Xbox settings.

Any ideas?

Hi

Can you acces the NAS server with the IP number of the server ? Are you on the same LAN section (192.168.X. the same on all computers) ? When you connect, can you see the disks on it ?

Yes... As a matter of fact, I am able to watch a movie from my iPad using an app called nPlayer which can view the shares. I am able to select the correct share and the media directory... It just refuses to make itself visible to my Xbox and to my Sharp tv. It will not show as EyeConnect does from the Mac.

I should clarify that NASlite will not show up in nPlayer as a DLNA server either... I can see the shares but not the server.

Sorry but I have no real experience with it or need so I am kinda at a loss to help. I don't own an Xbox or a PS anything. I have PCs and they have no issues seeing the media files.

Sorry again, Maybe Tony or Ralph will weigh in and help. There was a recent thread that had similar issues that may or may not help. That's all I got for you.

Mike
