 Post subject: Beep error

for the 10 mins, my nas server keeps making a beeps in the sequence of high low high low. this happens about once every 30 sec and i cant find any reference to this beep patten anywhere. also there's nothing in the log. when i beeping started, i was uploading a very large amount of data (50GB) to the server. please help

1 x 700Hz CHECK DISK MIRROR - Error detected
1 x 300Hz during disk mirror event

Try reading the manual, specifically pages 16 and 17.

Actually Mike to give the guy his due the Naslite-2 manual doesn't have the second half of the error beep table that the M2 manual has so he probably didnt even have cause to look in the M2 as he is not using it but at least we managed to point him in the right direction.
