NASLite Network Attached Storage

I have Naslite-2 CDD v2/06 8-2007

Upon entering the Admin menu -->option 3 Storage Config -->choosing Disk-5 Only option 4 (Smarttest) and 8 (Format Disk) are available. Every other selection is an asterisk/grey out

I would like to know if you could offer me some help before I start to tinker with running the LiveCD SYSTEMRESCUECD. Hopefully I can get the graphical environment to work and and can figure out what commands to run to repair/diagnose my hard drive.

Further info: ran Gparted and its said that the Disk is unallocated. I guess it ok to FORMAT the Drive. I thought I had data stored.

If NASLite finds a partition-1 on the drive, it will check and see if it's ext2/3 and handle it accordingly. If the drive had data on it yet NASLite fails to see the ext2/3 partition-1, then it's most likely that the partition table is corrupt and external recovery tool may be necessary.

Used SYSTEMRESCUECD and reseated all connectors (just in case they were loose). Everything is working fine. The Disk was reformat and is populated with videos for TVERSITY to stream to my XBOX360.
