Hi guys,

I'm using NASLite 1.3 since 2005 without any problem. I used to mount the shares with a script - it worked well perfectly. Now I'm uprade my desktop box to the latest Ubuntu 8.04. Since the old script seem to fail mountimg properly the NASLite shares: I can read (and see of course) properly everything, but I couldn't write.

Here is the script:

Code:
#! /bin/sh
#
#
mount -t cifs -o uid=rkey,gid=rkey,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,ip=192.168.0.10,workgroup=VXP,guest,rw //hydrogen/Web /home/rkey/Desktop/WebDev
mount -t cifs -o uid=rkey,gid=rkey,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,ip=192.168.0.2,workgroup=VXP,guest,rw //naslite/Disk-1 /home/rkey/Desktop/Fileserver
mount -t cifs -o uid=rkey,gid=rkey,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,ip=192.168.0.2,workgroup=VXP,guest,rw //naslite/Disk-3 /home/rkey/Desktop/Files

Now the first line is an another Ubuntu box, which is my webserver, and that is working perfectly. But the NASLite working just in read-only mode.

Anyone can help what could the problem be?

Is the Ubuntu a load from a live CD/DVD, if so they generally are set to mount disks RO.

No. Ubuntu is running from the HD. And as I told, the script is perfectly (rw) mount the other box shares.
