I'll try it when i get home from work. i recently installed Leopard on my MacBook, and still use SuperDuper! and a disk image on my NASLite server, but will throw in a spare disk, and try time machine. I'm going to presume the lack of HFS+ will still be an issue...
Please let us know the results... I'm really interested !!
No go..
using this method:
http://www.engadget.com/2007/11/10/how- ... d-volumes/and enabling network volumes via this terminal command:
defaults write com.apple.systempreferences TMShowUnsupportedNetworkVolumes 1
i was able to see all my Windows shares and NASLite disks, and choose any of them as the Time Machine destination, but every time i would go to start the backup, Time Machine would fail as it was creating the *.sparsebundle file it uses for the backups...
My next attempt will be to start the backup on a local disk, then copy it over to a NASLite disk, and see if i can continue to add to an already created *.sparsebundle
We will see...
