hi all,

I have NASLite 2.06 with 2 160 GB drives mirroring one another. I finally got them to mirror however after it mirrored I get 2 quick consecutive beeps, continually.

it doesn't match the codes in the manual. everything seems to be operating fine otherwise.

Go to the Disk-X status page, where X is the mirror disk, and check for mirror errors. It's probably a Mirror Error Alarm. Obviously the manual will need an overhaul ;-)

Couple of things;

1. Where was this disk originally formatted - NASLite or another linux machine?

2. Were files written directly to it by another OS, not via the network but my mounting the drive locally?

Personally, I'd start by attempting to delete the ".journal" file which should be located in the root of Disk-0 and allow the backup to sync the disks again during the next cycle.

The disks are new and were formatted by NasLite. The files were transferred via the network from windows xp. I deleted the journal file so we'll see what happens
