I am trying to use NASlite as a datastore for VMware. When I try to setup the storage device through vmware esx I get an error :

"Error during the configuration of the host: NFS Error: Unable to Mount filesystem: The mount request was denied by the NFS server. Check that the export exists and that the client is permitted to mount it"

Looking through the vmware forums it looks like vmware esx 3.0 requires the following for it to use an NFS:

Is your share NFS version 3 ?
Is your share over TCP , not UDP?
Is your share exported with the no_root_squash option?

Does anyone know if NASlite 2 is compatable with VMWARE ESX 3.0?

Thanks any help

Ryan
