hello,

i wonder what would be if some hardware (Mainboard, Ram, NIC, Graphic Card) got brocken. All but the Hard Drives. Would my NasLite System run if I only put the Drives out of one PC into another? With the Same Disk? Without getting any Data Lost?!

One of the concepts behind NASLite is portability. So if you have another NASLite computer you can change disks and the data will still be there.

The only problem you might encounter with hardware breaking is that it corrupts your data before you remove the hard drive.

I just migrated my 2 hard drives from my old 100TX based celeron 400 to another celeron 400 based box with gigabit with no problems at all.
