I've just finished installing the NASLITE server on an old IBM 300PL PC with a
600MHZ P3, 128MB RAM and 100Mbit NIC. The Install was little rigors due to the limitations of the BIOS/MOBO, but I got the server working!!!!

WOW!!! How could I have ever lived without it!!??

I am in the process of organizing my media files and storing them on the NAS server. Before I get ahead of myself, I would like to know If I now change the 100 Mbit NIC with a 1000Mbit NIC would I just have to create a floppy with the SMB Gig OS, install the new NIC, boot and reconfigure the the WORKGROUP name???

Any help would be appreciated!! :D

Never mind, the software recognises any previous installs plus the new NIC!!
