NASLite Network Attached Storage

Hello all
Could anyone let me know which Large size HDD is compatible with NASLite+?
After having tons of problems and giving up, I realize not all HDD is made same.
Especially if HDD is a large one that old Motherboard doesn't support natively.
I have a Maxtor 300GB HDD Model No. 6B300R0.
I do NOT recommend this HDD for any OS. Especially not for Linux.
I am sending this one back.
Before I buy a new one for my NASbox, could any of you recommend a HDD you don't have problem with?
Preferably 200GB+ size and could you include the model number?

I have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 400gb hard drive configured and running well in my NASlite+ box the actual model number is ST3400832A. I'm sure the 250gb or 300gb versions of the same drive would also work fine.
