Is it possible to use this card with NASLite+ to provide a RAID 1 array?

Sorry Tony,
I wrote the similar question to you - should have read this first.
But why is this kontoller mentioned in the reference as supported?
It`s not that bad to use "older" real RAID hardware. Will it be a problem to add it to the kernel?

Thanks, Roland

P.S.: In my private message I made a mistake: my kontroller is a Supertrack 100, 6 IDE channels and an Intel risk cpu.

Meanwhile I tested this kontroller in it`s "meant to exist system - w2k" - not a real fortune!!!
Yeah - it has an own RISC.
Yeah - it has own memory.
But it is as slow as a ... I will not know.
Well let`s forget PROMISE in that way - it`s just a promise - nothing else.
I`ll get it back to e-bay.

Again: It is a very slow kontroller but it helps using a 50nS EDO RAM. I took what I had. 64MB 60nS is not the best choice!!! It will really slow down using RAID 5. Ok - hope this will help other people.
