NOTE: I'd posted this in the NASLite+ USB message board originally, thought i'd repost here to make it easier for others to find.

Hi All,

I recently upgraded my NASLite+ server to the USB version and thought I’d share the specs and prices with anyone else considering doing the same.

All parts came from https://www.auspcmarket.com.au and where shipped the next day.

1x AQR 128Mb USB2.0 high-speed flash drive $41.80
1x SilverStone SST-LC04 black Aluminium-fronted Desktop case, 1x CDROM bay, front IO ports, 220w PSU $247.50
1x PC-3200 256mb Corsair 184-pin DDR SDRAM (200mhz ValueSelect CAS 2.5) $52.80
1x VIA ML8000A MiniITX Motherboard - 800Mhz CPU w/fan - 1xPCI 1xDDR, Video/audio/LAN $181.50

This was easy to assemble and is VERY quiet. It only has mounting points for one 3.5” ATA HDD, but given the via mini itx board is so small, there is plenty of space to mount another 3 drives if your willing to get a little creative. I recommend Velcro tape from the your local hardware store Smile

Cheers,

Padgett
