Although not listed as compatible, it uses the AACRAID linux driver and I imagine it would be compatible. I would just like to check before I order.

THANKS

I have been attempting to get an 6805E to work for several hours now w/o success. It seemed a good bet since it does indeed use the aacraid Linux driver. I suspect since these card support 6Gb SATA drives, we have kernel based limitations not supporting the latest hardware, otherwise it would work since the aacraid Linux driver is supported. I had problems with this card running Fedora 12, updated to 16 and it was recognized.
Shame about this, if NASLite-M2 x64 doesn't support this card, since I really like the software.

Send a PM to the devs, on occasion they will roll a custom with the proper drivers for the user/s. If it works then they will include it in the next distro.

Not sure what kernel the current release is based on, but Adaptec has details about pre-2.6.39 Kernels with Adaptec Series 6 controllers. I believe this was the problem I had with Fedora 12. I'll pm the devs. Thanks, Mike
I did get my install running, by connecting the disks directly to the MB SATA ports. No RAID, but I can use the mirror function until I either get a compatible card or the issue with the current card is fixed.
