Hello Team,

I believe these questions are best presented to Ralph & Tony but others may know as well.

Because all drives should now be AF in nature, this seems like it would be a hot topic. I did search the forum and found some threads but nothing seems to deal with this topic directly or in great detail - mainly that NL-2 might work with 2.63 and later. Also, that post mentions "GPT" but I'm not really sure what that is - also, didn't see any reference to "GPT" it in the relNotes.

Thanks in advance for your help and feedback.

1) Are the new Advanced Format drives supported w/ NL? If so, which flavors & versions?

2) Is the formatting of these drives done natively or are any other hacks\software required? (For example, re-alignment software)

3) Has anyone tested the AF drives with non-supported NL? If so, do they run? Exhibit performance issues? Data loss? Any other caveats?
