I have installed a EVGA 100-U3-EU30-TR 2-Port SuperSpeed USB 3.0 PCI-E Host Card(100U3EU30TR) and NASLite 2-2 does not recognize it. (Win7 does) I'm using a WD external 3TB drive. When I use the USB2 port on the motherboard "Asus P5Q pro" and format the drive it only partitions it for one 1TB partition.

That was because the WD drive I used was already partitioned with only 1 TB un-used.

Ubuntu, and Linux Mint both recognize USB3 PCIe card, but NASLite 2-2 does not.

Some of the newest hardware out there likely didn't have Linux drivers or they were not stable as of the current roll of the appliance software and so the drivers were not included. Tony and Ralph try and include likely hardware drivers in each new roll or update.

Your particular card works in some other distros because they rolled the new drivers into the package, not all distros will include the driver/s.

Thank you for that, What USB3 card will work with the current release? Which USB3 drivers have been included in the latest release?

Thank You,

Bob
