Got the link from a slashdot short. One hell of a concept and execution. In theory they should yield nearly 59TB of RAID6 storage per rack unit when fitted out with 1.5TB drives, and 78TB of RAID6 for 2TB drives.

Looking at it the theory great, it will be interesting to see how the drives hold up with the limited cooling and the large sympathetic vibrations they will have to contend with.

I guess that I need to get my array up and running now, I'm feeling kinda motivated!

It's all in there to read.

They use a pair of 760Watt power supplies. I would guess that it is as green as just about any other NAS solution out there.
