Hi All,

Has anyone used the Shintaro Hard Drive Docker http://www.shintaro.com.au/with NASLite-M2?

I was hoping to use it for offsite backups using Content Backup Mirroring.

The idea is to shutdown NASLite server, install Shintaro Hard Drive Docker with drive, reboot, format & mirror target drive. Then shutdown remove mirror drive to remote site, install into remote NASLite server & reboot, then configure new dirve to mirror the target drive again over the existing VPN link.

I know the above works as I have tested already, I have however not used the Shintaro Hard Drive Docker.
What about connection, USB or eSATA
Also the spec's say (Hot-Swap capability for rapid multi HDD’s access and exchange) my guess is NASLiet will not handle the hot-swap, anybody comfirm this.

Thanks.

Looks OK to me.

eSATA, not USB.

NL does NOT support hot swap, yet.
