Glad it works for you but USB is still a poor interface for storage that is anything but an occasional backup target. Try reading and writing to the same drive or to one drive and the other at the same time and it will drag to a near halt. Start hitting it with HTTP requests and I/O and it will not be the power house you think.

Understand that I am not trying to crap on your choice there but there are other board/processor combos that will give you far more for only a couple of watts more. Case in point is the Intel DN2800NT. A dual core 1.86GHz Atom processor, up to 4GB of 1066MHz DDR3 memory, Intel Gigabit NIC on board, two 3.0Gb SATA ports, 8 USB 2.0 ports and support for mSATA SSD should one desire.

The board and 4GB of memory can be had for less than $150.00 and typical dissipation on my board is less than 3 watts. A little more money and a little more power gets me about 100x the utility and 20x the performance in real world use.

Just saying I would be using the MK808 for what it was intended, an HTPC.

Mike
