I just won 6 of these cards off of Ebay, they are supposed to be good. I am going to be flashing them with the latest firmware and testing them in a RAID 5 array with 4 drives to make sure that they work. I will then put them up on Ebay unless any of you are interested in getting one please do tell so we can make arrangements. They have four PATA100 ports for a total of 8 drives supported, do RAID 0,1,3,5,10,30,and 50, and have 16MB of on board cache. They are also 32bit pci at 33MHz and are both 3.3Volt and 5Volt compliant so they will work with older motherboards.

Tony or Ralph, if I am out of line feel free to remove this post.

Thanks,

Mike

Damn, wish I would have seen this about a week ago, I just bought a 3ware 7006 PATA card for a temp solution for our old mail server here until I can get the new Dell PowerEdge up and running with what we need.

I still have one of these - when I was using it it was a great IDE RAID card with no compatibility problems with NASLite-2 at all.

Once Mike has disposed of all of his I may look to sell mine and the 3Ware 7500-8 I have taken out of my retired second server.

I will be putting mine up on Ebay so they will sell for sure. I list them here for the users of NL looking to move to a good and stable PATA RAID card for cheap and more of a service than trying to move the cards. Feel free to contact Nickc if you want to buy his card. Normally I wouldn't try and sell here but these are very relevant to the product that they sell and support so.....
