Ralph/Tony,

Just a couple quick questions:

1. I purchased the HD version and had it installed on a Gateway E-5120 and now have decomissioned that box and upgrated to 8 SATA 750GB drives with a LSI MEGARAID SATA 300-8ELP controller and a ASUS P5K WS motherboard. Can I reinstall the same software on the new server or do I need to purchase a new copy?

2. Is there any chance that you could include support for the Marvell 88E8052/88E8056 Dual Gigabit LAN controllers on the P5K WS motherboard in the next release?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I believe that as long as you only use your license of NASLite on one machine then you can permanently transfer it to another at will (just remember to delete it off the old one....)

As far as I can tell that will not be possible until they update the kernel to 2.6. I *think* I read that the next release of NL2 will only be a maint release and will not have the updated kernel.

You don't have to purchase a new copy unless you intend to run both servers simultaneously full time. Otherwise, reinstall, unlock and you are set.

Not until 2.6 as Myron pointed out.

Hope that helps.
