Came across an old Promise Supertrak SX 6000 that's bin collecting dust for a while.. I bought 6 new 320GB drives 'cause they were cheap and set it all up under win2k3 standard. Then I remembered NASlite.

I'd love to use the product.. but before I buy it.... can someone please tell me if the "Promise Supertrak SX 6000" is supported in any of the versions of NASlite offered?

any info is MUCH appreciated - :D

Cheers

The Promise SuperTrak SX6000 uses the Intel i960RM. Unfortunately I can't find any note in the reference list on this chipset being supported :

Looks like its a no-go:

Thanks for this!!!

Guess I'll have to try another hardware vendor... like an older 3ware card..
