Hi All,

I love naslite so much I'm about to build a RAID 5 setup using the MegaRaid controller :) Have ordered all the parts.

My question. If say the motherboard or RAID controller dies. Is it possible to simply subsitute the MB or conrtoller and be up and running again?

I read in some forums that they totally build another RAID 5 and simply put the HD's into the new server and wholla the data is accessible again. I'm not sure if this is true.

Thanks in Advance for Advice
Yanter

That would be true. :)

As long as you use the same type controller and connect the drives to it in the same order.
