hiya

I'd like to upgrade my naslite box to gigbyte (going to have a couple of raid'd drives for loading *.iso's over the network)

the naslite box is plugged into a 100 switch, which is then connected to my tvbox and to my main 1000 switch....

instead of buy another 1000 switch.... can I just install another network card into the box (gigabit one) and plug my tv box into the 100 card that is already in there ?

then have the tv box accessing the network through the naslite box ?

nOPE cUZ NAS LITE not doing routing for you. so doesn't matter if u connect another giga laN and connect to your tv box. so tv box will not get any ip adress as nas don't act as dhcp or as a router. You can make long cable & plug to that 1000 switch if thier is a extra port
