Currently running a RAID1 2x250gb that I'd like to expand into a RAID5 3x250GB. I dont really have anywhere to temp store the data from the RAID1 so Im wondering wether its possible to convert the RAID1 into a RAID5 online on the LSI Megaraid 150-4? Have searched the manual without finding anything...

The Windows or Linux RAID management software applicable to the card should allow you to perform the task.

Worked great! Although NASLite only sees the array as 250gb large... anyway to resolve that without formatting? :S

That I seriously doubt (within NASLite-2) - but there should almost certainly be a Linux utility to expand an ext2 / ext3 partition on a physical drive....
