I want to use raid 5. Is this the correct card? Looks like it is supported and the price is not bad either

It's an older IDE RAID card - not the fastest throughput, but adequate for home purposes. Can have up to 8 HDD's attached and up to 40 logical drives. Currently reconfiguring mine with 2 x 500 & 2 x 200 drives. I had to flash the firmware to get the card to break the 137GB (128GiB) limit, but it now recognises >137GB no problem at all.

I just ordered one the other day. A guy on ebay has them for 59.99 buy it now. It made my happy that I lost the auction for one last week that went for over $80.
