Hi
All I want to do is connect my SATA HDD to my old mobo, not worried about RAID. SO I bought a SIL3512 controller card that I believe is supported hardware. However, all I seem to get is 'failed to configure disk-1' when I try and configure the hardware.

I have just noticed that I bought the Naslite v1 do I need Naslite v2?

Any help appreciated.

Pete

I saw that only V2 supports SATA disks so I have upgraded......

Still not seeing disk though.

No, you don't need to do anything to the disk.

Are you sure your card is supported?

Once it sees it, it will format.
