Hello.

Could anyone tell me if this chipset is supported by Naslite 2? I have just specced and purchased a NAS which is based around the RAID 5
capability of this chip.
The hardware reference manual does not mention it.

Specifically, this motherboard:
http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/DQ965GF/index.htm

Thanks

I am running a MSI board that uses the P965 chipset with a Celeron D processor. I can boot and configure NASLite2 USB. My gig-e and south bridge are not supported. (It does not look like your gig-e is on the list either.) Since my south bridge is not supported, I can't configure my disks until I get a different SATA controller. I had to add a NIC to my board.

Based on the intel diagram, that board uses the same south bridge chipset (ICH8) http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/ ... /index.htm

I went to Newegg and based on their mother board search tool, all P965 boards use the ICH8 chip set for their south bridge .

There is a hardware reference list here: http://www.serverelements.com/documentation.php
