For those of you out there that want to buy SATA drives to be used on old non SATA motherboards. Here is a great adapter board from Sabrent...

I just didn't want to keep buying old PATA drives anymore.
I have 2 in my Asus A7V Naslite-2 server and they work great!

A caveat for this converter board that I just found out about.
It seems as you can not have two of these boards on the same IDE cable.

Were you using a 40 wire or an 80 wire IDE cable - if not 80, try it again with one, it may help.

I was using an 80 wire cable. The problem I was getting was BIOS not finding the drives. Not a Naslite problem. I did not do any further testing, so it still might work. But as soon as I put them on diffrent IDE interfaces the problem went away.
