Can someone confirm please if the 3COM 3C940 Gigabit chip is supported?
The manual says that the 3C985 is supported.
I couldn't find any reference in the linux hcl to this specifically.

I am considering upgrading my motherboard to one that has a built in 3c940.

My asus MB has one and I get no errors when I boot it.
