Will version 2 support RAID with ATA/IDE drives, or only SATA? Thanks.

Shouldn't matter since the RAID functionality will be embedded in the card and not the software. As long as there are drivers for your card your good. The physical interface between the drives makes no difference in this case. I am thinking of throwing my old SCSI drives at it and seeing what I can do with a couple of old RAID cards.
